I've been living a plant-based lifestyle since 1991, when I chose to stop eating meat at just six years old. Long before plant-based foods became mainstream, I learned firsthand how difficult it could be to find convenient, high-protein options that actually tasted great and were good for you.

As someone who once loved the bold taste and chewy texture of traditional jerky, I set out to create a plant-based jerky that not only matches the protein content, flavor and texture of the real thing but also aligns with a more conscious, healthy lifestyle.

In 2019, Plant Power Foods was born. What started at Manitoba farmers’ markets quickly gained a loyal following among vegans, vegetarians, flexitarians, and even meat lovers looking for a better snack.
